Love the service, Lexus quoted $1,800 for my a/c repair. Sam was accommodating, gave me a loner which I appreciated and they got the parts from my Lexus dealership, installed for $999.50. I highly recommend them, they care about their customers.

I was looking for a new business to take my vehicles to and now I have found one. I am the type of person who will spend a few hours researching my vehicle's problem to see if I can fix it myself. Then I will look up the price of the parts for a general idea of what the repair will cost. I like to take my vehicle to a mechanic to see if they match what I see. Honest, high quality and terrific employees. I had a 1996 Passat TDI that had been sitting for over 3 years. I took it to Southend to determine whether it was worth refurbishing. Their caring, thoughtful and professional advice led me to keep the car. They saved money for me every step of the way. I can't believe how inexpensive the bill was. I am so grateful to have found Southend Auto! Finding a new auto repair shop is one of the most stressful challenges I can think of. I moved down from north Seattle a few years ago where I had trusted mechanics. Southend Auto is my auto repair shop for life.

I experience a check engine light on my Ford 2010 hybrid. The error on the dash and with a OBD code reader pointed to an error in the hybrid drive system. The problem was intermittent. I could clear the code and the car would work for a day or a few weeks, but then would refuse to start. I took the car to two Ford dealerships who could not locate the problem and charge me $185+ each for diagnostic work without a solution. I had my car towed to Southend Auto when the issue came up again. Their technician figured out that the main battery, not the hybrid battery was dead ( less than 8 volts!). Why two dealerships could not figure this out, or why the car didn't give an error code for low battery voltage is beyond comprehension. In short, Mark, Scott and the team diagnosed the problem and fixed a very vexing problem. They also did the 60K service on the Ford and it's running better than anytime I have owned this vehicle. Future service on this Ford will be done here, and not at a dealer! As an update, my Ford had a check engine light on. My OBD reader said I had a bad EGR valve. Scott suggested some diagnostic time because something else could be the problem, not the EGR valve. They found a technical service bulletin that said to reprogram the system rather than replacing the EGR valve. If I had blindly replaced the EGR valve, I would still have the check engine light problem. This team is top notch!
